Mamba is a display serif typeface family inspired by the heavy and nostalgic spirit of the classic Cooper Black. Published through W Type Foundry, this font revives the retro aesthetic of the seventies with a strong visual presence.
The project focuses on the exploration of weight and form. It features extremely thick strokes, organic curves, and rounded serifs that deliver a bold look without losing warmth or dynamism. The family includes two variants, Regular and Oblique, designed for use in logos, packaging, and headlines.
